An unlikely new couple do their best to navigate their budding romantic relationship and overcome societal prejudice.
SYNOPSIS
In a world where Muppets and humans live side by side, muppet celebrity comedian Jerry finds himself falling in love after a blind date with Charlie, the new-girl-in-town. A hopeless romantic determined to win his date's affection at any cost, Jerry invites Charlie into his colourful, chaotic world across town - forcing them both to question their assumptions about love and relationships and confront the societal prejudices that come with their budding inter-species romance.
AUTHORS NOTE: I've always loved The Muppets, who come alive with a zany, whimsical energy that we rarely see captured in live action. Using that same visual treatment to describe the feeling of falling in love seemed like no brainer. It's a story with heart, laughs, and a splash of anti-Muppet bigotry - a reminder that everyone deserves to be accepted.
